ABSMaster™ MSRP: $129.95 The TDP ABSMaster is a four block ABS signal controller. It will control the signals for four continuous blocks on your railroad. The ABSMaster is designed to work prototypically in both directions of travel. To signal a bidirectional track two ABSMasters are needed, one for each direction. The ABSMaster includes optical detection (with a reflective IR sensor option) for five blocks (the fifth block is necessary for the 'yellow' aspect of the fourth signal to operate correctly). The ABSMaster can also use existing block detectors that you may already have installed on your layout provided they use a TTL compatible output (the voltage does not go above +5V). Any number of ABSMasters can be connected together to provide as many blocks of ABS signaling that you desire. The ABSMaster is designed to operate all LED based signals. It will operate three light, two light, searchlight and most position light signals, whether they are wired in common anode or common cathode configurations. The ABSMaster will automatically detect what kind of signal is connected and adjust its operation as needed. You can even mix & match signals (you can conceivably have a three light signal, a two light signal, a searchlight signal and a position light signal connected up to a single ABSMaster and they will all work correctly).
